Privacy Policy

We Have Taste keeps this simple. We only email people who asked to hear from us, we never sell or share your data, and you can leave any time with one click. This page explains exactly what we collect and why.

01Who we are

We Have Taste is a creative studio operated by Lucas Vivas, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. You can reach us any time at hi@wehavetaste.studio. For anything in this policy, that address is the fastest way to get an answer from a real person.

02What we collect

We collect only what you give us and what we need to deliver what you asked for:

• Your email address, when you submit it through a form on this site (for example, the Playbook signup).
• Basic source attribution (such as which page or link brought you here), so we understand where our audience comes from.
• Email engagement (whether a message was delivered, opened, or bounced), so we can keep our list healthy and stop emailing addresses that no longer work.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not buy, scrape, rent, or append email lists. Every address on our list got there because someone typed it into a form themselves.

03How we use your data

We use your email address to:

• Send the resource or content you signed up for.
• Send a short series of related educational emails.
• Occasionally share new content or updates, only to people who opted in.

That is the full list. We do not use your data for advertising targeting, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

04How we send email

We send email through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) using our own self-hosted setup. Our sending domain is authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. We monitor bounces and complaints in real time. If an address hard bounces or someone marks a message as spam, that address is added to a suppression list and never emailed again.

05Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer, and we honor one-click list-unsubscribe headers. When you unsubscribe, you are removed right away and we do not email you again. You can also email hi@wehavetaste.studio and we will handle it for you.

06Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Just email hi@wehavetaste.studio and we will take care of it. We comply with CAN-SPAM and GDPR principles: clear opt-in, no pre-checked boxes, easy opt-out, and honest subject lines.

07Data retention and security

We keep your data only as long as you are subscribed or as needed to deliver what you requested. Suppression records (unsubscribes, bounces, complaints) are kept so we can respect your choice not to be contacted. Access to our systems is limited and protected by least-privilege credentials.

08Third-party services

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run this site and our email: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), Amazon Web Services (email sending via SES), and our self-hosted Plunk instance (contact and suppression management). These providers process data only to help us operate, never for their own marketing.

09Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect how we use your data will be communicated to active subscribers by email.
